HReasily: Can you introduce yourself and share a bit about your role at HReasily?

Matilda: I am Matilda. I was previously in the Customer Success team but most recently I have joined the sales team. My role in the sales team involves understanding customer needs and matching them to the relevant product which will ease their day to day HR tasks. I enjoy it when I hear happy reviews from customers.

HReasily: How do you view HReasily’s dedication to fostering inclusivity, particularly in relation to women within the workplace?

Matilda: Definitely involving everyone in discussions is one of the ways in which I see HReasily fostering inclusivity within the workplace.

HReasily: Can you share some highlights of your career journey at HReasily, especially in terms of personal and professional growth?

Matilda: I would say some highlights for me would definitely be moving from the success team to the sales team as they’re vastly different in terms of how success is measured. But I trust that the time I spent with the success team has been helpful in my sales role.

HReasily: Have you faced any unique challenges as a woman in your role, and how have you overcome them?

Matilda: None in particular, thankfully!

HReasily: Can you share a personal triumph or accomplishment that holds significance for you?

Matilda: Completing my first implementation project on my own from start to finish.

HReasily: How does collaboration contribute to fostering a supportive environment for women employees?

Matilda: Collaboration is great as it gives everyone a voice despite an individual’s experience, age or gender.

HReasily: What advice would you give to other women aspiring to build a career similar to yours in the HR industry?

Matilda: My advice is to keep doing what you’re doing and the results will show for itself!

HReasily: As a woman in your position, how do you envision the future of women in leadership roles at HReasily?

Matilda: Given that one of our founders, Sharon, is female herself, I think that encourages us to keep pursuing our goals and also thankful to have such a role model in the workplace.

HReasily: What changes or improvements would you like to see in the workplace for women in the coming years?

Matilda: I don’t think there’s anything specific to pinpoint right now. I do feel that HReasily does not discriminate and every gender has a chance to excel here, male or female.

HReasily: Any final thoughts or messages you would like to convey to fellow employees or women considering a career in the field?

Matilda: While the tech industry may seem to be dominated by males, I think that women can bring in the element of empathy to the industry. Afterall, products are to be developed with empathy for customers.
